And, no. I have no plans to ‘check out’ just yet. However, given the current situation, I would welcome the chance to emulate an ostrich and bury my head in the sand until further notice.
OK, it’s me. I am completely and utterly pissed off with the political leadership here in Israel. Barring a handful of individuals, the balance would be hard-pressed to manage a dog pound let alone a country.
The general opinion seems to be that Netanyahu is the Problem, not the Solution, and yet senior Likud MKs and senior members of the Likud Central Committee appear to be Deaf, Dumb, and Blind.
They are imitating the Three Monkeys "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil". Oh, if only they had the balls to move Netanyahu aside. But of course, they are, even in these challenging times, more interested in looking after their exalted positions. Israel is of secondary importance to them.
While Netanyahu sends the cream of this generation to fight his screw-ups, his two sons hide out, shirking their collective responsibility.
Are we, as a nation, this ‘Galactically Stupid’? The answer must be YES. Is this the legacy we want to leave our children and grandchildren?
Excluding Israel, but in several other countries of the world, for dereliction of duty and treason, Netanyahu would find himself against a wall being offered a blindfold, maybe a last cigar, and a glass of pink champagne.

A few days ago while eating lunch, I made the mistake of reading an article on Netanyahu and ‘her indoors’, to quote Arthur Daley. Towards the end of the article, ‘her’ photo was shown. That smiley, loathsome face caused me to rush to the bathroom where I was violently sick.

I wanted to compare the educationally challenged Ben Gvir and his posse of desperados to a troop of monkeys until I remembered that the monkeys are far more intelligent.
While it’s insulting to a tardigrade, the description of this microscopic, eight-legged, repulsive-looking creature is an ideal compassion to Ben Gvir and his cohorts.

How would this dipshit feel if his wife and/or children were held captive in Gaza?
It is worth remembering that Itamar Ben Gvir was on October 7, 2023, and remains so at the time of writing, National Security Minister. But like the little shit that he is, everyone else is to blame. He enjoys employing “it’s not me, it’s them”. He thinks that everything can be solved with brute force and ignorance. He certainly has plenty of the latter. If he had any sense, which he has demonstrated time and again he does not, he would shut the fuck up and leave the big boys to get on with the job at hand. I appreciate that this rebuke will make the big baby cry but until Ben Gvir learns, understands, and appreciates the ‘big picture’ he can’t play in the sandpit with the big kids.
There is a saying that “Those who can, do, those who can’t become teachers”. I think that this degrading to teachers.
I would offer a revised saying “Those who can, do, those who can’t become members of parliament, and do little while spouting a whole heap on someone else's dime”.
And yes, I will concede not all, but take a long hard look at many of these moronic, tinpot, brain-dead ninnies and tell me that we are getting value for money from them.
Two other repulsive-looking creatures that I can happily do without are Roger Waters and George Galloway. Words fail me when it comes to these two obnoxious antisemitic, anti-Israel assholes. Enough time and space for these stupid, irritating, and ridiculous SOBs.
While the full article originally published in Hebrew is more revealing, the precise in English says much about the rabbi and his attitude towards IDF soldiers. That is not to take away anything from garbage collectors.
The assumption is that rabbis have a modicum of intelligence and compassion for their fellow man.
