Rhetorical question!

Do the agencies that produce radio ads really think that by insulting peoples’ intelligence they are going to sell (more of) their product? Rhetorical question! I drive with the radio on and try to tune out when the ads come on – I know that radio stations are commercial enterprises. So an ad comes on and I can’t tune out,; I switch to another station – same ad. Third time it happens I switch the radio off – I always seem to forget that there is an alternative – stick a CD in the player. Queen at full volume – (almost) nothing better.
