Norwegian Wood, written mainly by John Lennon but credited to the Beatles, Lennon–McCartney songwriting partnership was included in the group’s 1965 album, Rubber Soul.
Lennon wrote the song as a veiled account of an extramarital affair he had in London.
My thoughts turned to the song on reading/hearing that a majority of Knesset members, excluding the prime minister, had voted in favor of the Norwegian Law.

It’s long been said that my mind works in mysterious ways!
Unlike some Knesset members, or as lawyer Ronit Amiel, a former state attorney refers to them, eunuchs, Norway Maple (wood) is of high-quality and used widely in flooring. There is also evidence that many Stradivarius and other older Italian violins are suspected to have been constructed from Norway Maple.
So, having already cost the taxpayer around a billion shekels for an overrated, highly inflated 36-man (and women) government, which is not needed, the taxpayer has now to foot another bill for a further 20 million shekels for another group of eunuchs; maybe we should call this second group parasites for feeding on the Israeli taxpayer.
We are not yet over the coronavirus, it looks like a second wave is with us, the economy is in a shambles, and these wallies think that its perfectly alright to further milk the taxpayer. Have they no feelings, no morality? They are truly eunuchs.
Naturally, the two ultra-orthodox parties could not give a hoot, their war cry is “give us money” and we’ll dance to any tune you want.
Likud MKs seemly jump to order passed from the prime minister, they really are eunuchs.
And what of Benny knife-the-public-in-the-back-Gantz, and his sidekick, naive, rookie Gadi Ashkenazi?
Let me go on the record as saying that I derive no pleasure in calling Gadi Ashkenazi naïve, a rookie but he seems to be blindly following Gantz. Ashkenazi, throughout his years of military service, has proven himself to be a leader, what has now happened to those qualities that he now a follower?

We see that Benny knife-the-public-in-the-back-Gantz is the driver of the Norwegian Law bill. This is the man who wanted to enter a unity government to save Israel. The same man who three times vowed not to sit in a Netanyahu–led government. Henceforth, should we believe anything Benny knife-the-public-in-the-back-Gantz now says or does?

OK, so it's maybe a little scaremongering, but what if?
Having been deceived by Benny knife-the-public-in-the-back-Gantz - maybe now he is showing his true colors and this was his plan all along once it became clear that he could not muster a majority – will the great unwashed support him again in the future?
It would not come as a surprise to see Gantz ditch his Blue & White mantel and make a run at the leadership of the Likud party at some near-future date.
