Its hard to describe in words how I felt when reading this article over coffee this morning. By the end I had tears in my eyes. Not sure if I was crying for the bereaved families of Israel or lack of respect certain sections of the Haredi community has for Israel. “Fight until Zionism is defeated” is a quote from the article. We don’t need to wait for our enemies to come calling – we have our fifth column alive and well in our midst. A black night filled with demons and ghosts, memoirs and self doubt, has not disappeared with day break. This article, which I should not have looked at, saw to that. I will myself to look at the blue sky, then squeeze my eyes shut and think happy thoughts. Despite my mature years, I am at times naive beyond reason.
